At NeXDM, our core philosophy is Privacy by Design. We believe that your downloads and browsing habits are your business, not ours.

1. Zero Data Collection

NeXDM does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, download history, or browsing data to our servers. All metadata processed by NeXDM remains strictly local on your machine.

2. Browser Extension Permissions

Our Chrome/Edge extension requires specific permissions to function:

• nativeMessaging: Required to communicate with the NeXDM desktop application for high-speed download handoff.
• downloads: Used to detect and intercept native browser downloads to provide faster multi-threaded acceleration.
• webRequest: Used to identify direct download links and video streams for industrial-grade capture.

3. Local Processing

All download acceleration, segmenting, and file management happen entirely on your computer. NeXDM does not use cloud-based parsing; your security is handled within your own hardware environment.

4. Zero Telemetry

NeXDM does not contain any hidden analytics or telemetry trackers. We do not track how you use the application or what you download.
